Pregnancy Yoga

‘Mama in the making’

“I loved Laura’s pregnancy Yoga, it was calming and powerful session to build strength, take time for myself and connect with my baby and other mums. Laura’s style is friendly and welcoming whilst also being knowledgeable about pregancy and birth specifically.
Highly recommend”

“Had a really special morning with Laura at her Pregnancy Yoga & Brunch. She had planned the class based on the needs and wishes of the group (from the sign up form). It was a relaxing class which also incorporated some harder flows, so it felt like a work out. It was really well tailored to pregnancy and Laura explained this throughout… it was an ideal morning to network with Laura and other mums”

About the classes…

These classes commenced in July 2025, and currently run interchangable every fortnight. Come along for some thoughtful and steady Yoga practice, and a relaxing way to build strength and learn to connect with your body.

This class will help you to create space in those birthing hips, guide inner confidence, help you learn about the power of the breath and understand meditation for the use of visualisation. In addition to helping to ground you, support your physical health/fitness whilst pregnant and meet other mums-to-be at similar stages.

“Laura's pregnancy yoga classes and 'yoga and brunch' events are something I look forward to in my calender. The classes improve strength and fitness but are also very relaxing. The events have given me my first opportunity to meet other local pregnant mums too which is lovely! Highly recommend Laura and her yoga classes and events.”

“I've been going to Laura's pregnancy yoga classes at Ride and really enjoying them. The intensity & flow is just right for expecting mums and always makes me feel relaxed and connected to my baby. I don't have much prior yoga experience but Laura makes you feel completely at home and the addition of brunch/coffee & cake afterwards at some sessions is such a nice opportunity to chat with other Banchory mums to be.”

Why pregnancy Yoga?

Yoga is proven to help labouring mothers not only relax and get in tune with their bodies, but also supports the physical element of birthing a baby.

Yoga is something Laura has been practising for 7+ years and all the skills and knowledge Laura has learnt from both her professional studies and Yoga studies, helped her in her first labour in 2024. Laura’s intention is to share this with ‘mama’s in the making’ to help them to feel empowered and confident with their birth’s.
